Catering and GST

Rasoyo-facilitated catering is charged under the following GST framework, per current Indian tax law:

Applicable rates

• 5% GST without Input Tax Credit (ITC) — for outdoor catering provided at premises other than the caterer's registered place of business (most wedding and event catering)
• 18% GST with ITC — for catering with full input tax credit eligibility (some corporate contract catering scenarios)

SAC Code

Services Accounting Code 996334 — "Catering services in event, exhibition, and other outdoor/indoor food service".

Invoicing

Every Rasoyo booking generates a tax-compliant invoice issued by the caterer (the actual service provider) with:

• Caterer's GSTIN
• Customer's GSTIN (if provided, for B2B)
• SAC 996334
• CGST + SGST breakup for intra-state, IGST for inter-state
• Digital signature
• Date, invoice number, place of supply

Corporate billing

For corporate customers, invoices are GST-input-eligible where applicable. Reverse charge mechanism (RCM) is handled per rule. For customers with registered places in multiple states, place of supply rules apply.
